Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of shallot prices, exchange rates, and GDP on Indonesia's volume of shallot imports. The data used is time series data for the period 2000-2015. Data comes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Center for Agricultural Data and Information Systems (PUSDATIN), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The study's results found that prices had a positive effect, and the exchange rate had a negative effect on Indonesian shallot imports. In contrast, GDP has no significant effect on shallot imports in Indonesia
